MORTIFIED: I had this recurring nightmare that I did something so embarrassing in a high school geography class that just thinking about it would leave me feeling hot-faced and sweaty.

And then one day when I was a grown-ass lady-person in my 30’s, my mom unearthed a pile of my old school assignments. Upon seeing my high school Geography notebook I was jolted with the realization that I hadn’t dreamed the awkward experience, I had actually lived it.
