I met Joy Gohring at a Pasadena comedy club where she was working as the token woman in a local sketch group. I talked her into coming away with me and being my comedy b*tch. In that moment, the unholy union of “Gohring & Stein” was born.
Together we produced a buncha live comedy shows, performed at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and created and produced “Ripe Tomatoes” a sketch comedy show for Carsey-Werner-Mandabach and The Oxygen Network. (You can see some of those sketches here.)
